Ukodhiko sues for love, peace, unity among Isoko people

THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives Candidate for Isoko Federal Constituency, Pastor Jonathan Ukodhiko has called on the people of Isoko to love themselves and embrace peace for overall development .

Ukodhiko made the call on Saturday at Oleh when the Isoko Development Union (IDU) held stakeholders’ meeting.

According to him, “it is time for us as a nation to forget about what has happened in the past, and look into the future, yes, we should concern ourselves about the survival of our ethnicity.

“Let’s unite and come together to move Isoko forward. It is time for genuine reconciliation.

“Let’s be involved in the process of unifying Isoko. We are stronger when we are united. Now, let’s start talking on how to develop Isoko, “

“At this juncture, i must express my confidence in the present leadership of the IDU who I do have discussions with from time to time on how to resolve the challenges being faced by the Isoko people.

“Also, I must commend our religious leaders for their continuous prayers of peace in Isoko land,”

The former Delta Energy Commissioner, Engr Ukodhiko appealed for a new spirit of fighting for the progress and development of Isoko

“I want to appeal to all parties in all lawsuits against the IDU to drop all cases for the sake of peace and development. It’s time for us to go to the drawing board and harmonize all issues in an effort to unify our nation.”

“I must promise here that, I will do everything to support the development of Isoko”

“Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, being a listening Governor, will attend to the issues and concerns of the Isokonation as I’ll bring them up before him,” Ukodhiko assured.
