THE Minister of Works, Chief David Umahi has wished Gov. Hope Uzodinma of Imo, a remarkable second term in office as he is being sworn-in on Jan.15.

Umahi in a congratulatory message he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Monday in Abakaliki, described the inauguration as ‘historic’.

The minister said he was
elated to identify with Uzodinma on the auspicious moment of his renewed mandate as Imo governor.

“I am happy that Imo people are resoundingly appreciating your excellent leadership hallmarks.

“This they showed with their overwhelming votes during the last governorship election in the state,” the message read.

Umahi in the message, noted that the increasing solidarity of Imo and South East geo-political zone to the renewed hope administration of President Bola Tinubu, is heart-warming.

“The people’s unflinching support to the All Progressives Congress (APC) shows their vision of a prosperous and progressive state shinning in the comity of states.

“I wish you more glorious milestones as you step into the second term of your social contract with the good people of Imo.

“Accept the affectionate assurances and best regards of my family, management and staff of the Federal Ministry of Works,” the message read. (NAN)
