UMAR Ardo, executive chairman, Arbel Energy, has paid glowing tribute to Late Raymond Aleogho Dokpesi, who died on Monday, May 29 aged 71 years.

In a text to Realnews on Tuesday, May 30, Ardo described Dokpesi as hard working, fearless and a dedicated man.

“What a loss! I was very close to High Chief Raymond Dokpesi. Specifically, we’ve worked together on the Gov. Peter Odili for president campaign. He was appointed by Odili as Director General of the campaign while l was appointed Director of Strategy. He was a hard working, fearless and dedicated man. Certainly, a huge vacuum is created in Nigeria’s political space by his death,” Ardo said.

He prayed God Almighty to bless his soul and reward his good deeds with mercy on the Day of Resurrection.

“May God Almighty also give his loved ones, all his children, wife, relatives, friends and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. And may God Almighty bless us the living with faithful deaths when it is our turn to die. Ameen.

“I extend my heartfelt sympathy over this personal painful occurrence even as I draw solace that Dokpesi lived a good, helpful and exemplary life,” he said.
