UNN holds 2024 International Conference/Jackson Annual Lecture

THE Department of Mass Communications, University of Nigeria, Nsukka is set to hold its 2024 International Conference and Jackson Annual Lecture.


The theme of the conference is: “Artificial Intelligence, Communication and Knowledge Economy in the 21st Century.”


Prof. Umaru Pate, Vice Chancellor, Federal University, Kashere, would deliver the Keynote Speach at the conference holding at the Faculty of Arts, Lecture Hall, UNN.


Featured Speakers at the conference include: Bosco Anthony, Chief  Brand Officer, Global Rev Gen, Australia, Queen Nwabueze, Managing Director, Webwide Digital Marketing Agency and Chukwuma Mgboji, Principal System Analyst, ICT, UNN.


Victor Anyaegbudike, Manager, Communications, Policy Government and Public Affairs, Chevron, would be the JAL Series Lecturer, while Dr. Marcel Mbamalu, CEO, NewsTide Publications, Lagos, would be the Lead Paper Presenter at the conference.


The two-day conference would begin on April 17 with the Lecture Series and would end on April 18 with the conference Keynote/Plenary.


The international conference would be hosted by three erudite scholars: the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. P.Obi- Ani, Prof. J. Wogu, Head of the Department of Mass Communications, UNN, and Prof. M. Nkonu, Chair, Local Organising Committee.


The Vice Chancellor of UNN, Prof. C.A. Igwe, would be the Chief Host of the conference.
