Valentine Ozigbo celebrates Obi of Onitsha

VALENTINE Ozigbo, the PDP frontrunner in the 2021 Anambra state gubernatorial election, felicitates with  Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe (Agbogidi), the Obi of the ancestral throne of Onitsha, as he celebrates his 80th birthday.
In a statement released from his campaign office at Udoka Housing Estate, Awka, Ozigbo, the immediate Past President and Group CEO of Transcorp Plc, eulogized the prominent monarch on his birthday, describing him as “an inspiration to the entire Ala-Igbo” and “a true blessing to Anambra, Nigeria, and the entire continent of Africa”.
Ozigbo, a respected business leader and philanthropist, thanked the Almighty God for the blessings of long life and wisdom in the life of the revered monarch.
“Today, I have the pleasure of joining the millions of Ndi Anambra worldwide in celebrating our foremost monarch, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe, the Obi of Onitsha and the Chairman of the Council of Traditional Rulers of Anambra State, as he marks his 80th Birthday,” Ozigbo wrote.
“An accomplished professional before he ascended the revered throne, Igwe Achebe is an outstanding leader, a wise king, and an inspiration to the entire Ala-Igbo.
“I have been privileged to enjoy the mentorship and friendship of His Royal Highness for over 15 years. His wisdom is timeless, his humanity is uncommon, and he is a true blessing to Anambra, Nigeria and the continent of Africa,” he declared.
Ozigbo, a celebrated global CEO who is the immediate past President and Group CEO of Transcorp Plc, also prayed blessings upon the life of Igwe Achebe and wished the entire Onitsha kingdom peace and prosperity the monarch’s reign.
“Your Highness, as you mark this milestone birthday, I have nothing but gratitude in my heart,” Ozigbo said. “May the Almighty bless you abundantly, strengthen, and protect you. May your Kingdom enjoy prosperity and peace under your leadership.”
Igwe Achebe will be celebrating 20 years on the throne of the Obi of Onitsha later in the year.
