THE Nigeria LNG has presented N5 million, a laptop and phone to Prisca Sam Duru, of the Vanguard newspaper for her diligence in reporting the prestigious Nigerian Science and Literature awards.

The other journalists recognized by the NLNG for their coverage of the prestigious awards included Tay Agbedu, Gabriel Akinadewo, Chidmma Agu and Sopuruchi Onwuka.

Speaking at the event on Friday in Lagos and themed: “Celebrating the Voices of Impact”, the General Manager, NLNG, Andy Odeh, expressed appreciation to the journalists who have consistently made the NLNG prizes a success through their reportage.

Odeh noted that the Science and Literature prizes, which started 20 years ago in 2004 to appreciate creativity and innovation of Nigerians, couldn’t have survived this long without the support of the journalists, who have not stopped spreading the news, shaping the narrative and doing it consistently.

The other journalists in attendance received a gift of a Samsung A15 phone.
