Victor Ochei mourns late Arthur Okorie Okowa

VICTOR Ochei, front row Delta state and national  political personality, says the death of  Arthur Okorie  Okowa aged 88, has robbed Delta State and in deed Nigeria, of an eminent and  inestimable  patriarch.

Ochei, executive director of Maritime Labour and Cabotage Services at the Nigerian Maritime Administration And Safety Agency, NIMASA, who also is former speaker of the fifth Delta state house of assembly,  stated this in his   condolence message to the Okowa household, Owa-Alero community in Ika North-East  Local Government Area of Delta state and  Nigeria in general.

The speaker emeritus admonished the family to take solace in the fact that the late octogenarian, who was a renowned educationist, an  exemplary disciplinarian endowed with longevity, lived a fulfilled life as he bequeathed society of worthy offspring prominent amongst whom is Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta state governor.

On behalf of my family, I extend my heartfelt condolence to my esteemed brother His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on the transition to eternity of Chief Pa Okorie Okowa, an inestimable  father-figure of global acclaim”.

While  beseeching the Almighty God to provide the family and community with  abundant strength of the mind  to bear the irreparable loss, Ochei also prayed for a deserved rest of late Chief Arthur Okorie Okowa’s soul  in  the Lord’s bosom.
