 THE race for who will be Senate president appears to have been settled among the All Progressive Congress senators for the 10th national assembly as Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has announced his support for Senator Godswill Akpabio.

The announcement took place on Friday, May 5, after a meeting of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Chieftains with President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja.

Umahi told journalists that Tinubu summoned him and asked him to support Akpabio's bid and he agreed as a party man
