Nnenna Oti, vice chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, resisted all attempts, bribery and intimidation to rig the result Abia State governorship, which Alex Otti of the Labour Party won. In return, the university rolled out drums to honour the woman of character, whose courageous acts in a country that witnessed the worst election heist ever, is worthy of emulation by all, young and old.
