…nothing untoward should happen to Gbadebo Patrick Rhodes-Vivour – COSEYL warns APC
THE Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, COSEYL, the apex socio-political youth group in South East geopolitical zone call on Nigerians living in Lagos State to come to out enmasse and vote for the Labour Party, LP, Governorship candidate Architect Gbadebo Patrick Rhodes-Vivour and Labour Party, LP, State House of Assembly candidates in the forthcoming elections on 11 March, 2023 for good governance and transformational leadership that have eluded the state all these years.
Gbadebo Patrick is coming on board fully prepared to deliver quality democracy dividends . His antecedent clearly shows that he is a man of his words and he never reneges on his promises.
He is a man who believes in justice and fair play which is why he stood firmly with Nigerian youths even during the Endsars protest when Nigerian youths were mercilessly murdered by the All Progressive Congress, APC, Governor, Babajide Sanwu-olu and his godfather Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu at Lekki tollgate Lagos State.
Many families are still in pains and sorrow till today as the bodies of those youths killed at Lekki tollgate are missing till date and nothing have been heard about them.
The APC that perpetuated this kind of evil against humanity cannot be allowed to come back to power in Lagos State and 11 March, 2023 is a date to send them parking.
“We condemn in strongest terms the evil plot by the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Lagos State to assassinate the Labour Party gubernatorial candidate Architect Gbadebo Patrick. We warn them to drop such evil plot.
“We won the APC in Lagos State not to joke with fire because fire burns. We warn the APC not to provoke a war because if anything untoward happens to Gbadebo Patrick, there will be war.
“We warn MC Oluomo and his thugs to stay clear of voting centers and stop harassing and intimidating innocent voters with dangerous weapons who wants to exercise their franchise on 11th of March 2023.
“We condemn the undemocratic role played by the All Progressive Congress, APC, to rig the vote of Nigerians who came out in enmasse to vote for Presidential and National Assembly candidates of their choices in Lagos State. We warn that such should not repeat itself in the forthcoming elections.
“We urge all Nigerians to brace up and be strong knowing that what played out in the last presidential election is one of the little set back in our democratic journey to success which is right before us.
“It is forward ever and backward never. We as Nigerian youths are united in this fight to enthrone a better nation were elected political office holders will be accountable to the people who elected them and not to any godfather anywhere.
“We assure Nigerians living in Lagos State that Architect Gbadebo Patrick Rhodes-Vivour when elected as governor of Lagos State, will use the federal allocations to the state and Internal Generated Revenue, IGR, generated in the state judiciously for the betterment of the people who elected him.
“We call on INEC to ensure that they conduct a free, fair and credible governorship and State Assembly Elections as Nigerians will not tolerate any form of criminality or rigging perpetrated by INEC staffs.
“Finally, the National Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu must ensure that result must be transmitted from the polling units to the INEC portal or IREV immediately after counting of votes. Enough said!” according to Goodluck Ibem, president general.
