HOUSE of Representatives member-elect, Pst Jonathan Ukodhiko has urged women of Isoko to vote Delta State PDP Governorship Candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and the Party’s House of Assembly Candidate for increased economic empowerment of women.
Engr. Ukodhiko made the appeal at Isoko South Local Government Council Secretariat in Oleh and Olomoro Civic Centre at Olomoro on Thursday.
He said, the Delta PDP Governorship Candidate, Hon Oborevwori’s policy thrust was all about economic development through programmes that would improve the lives of the people.
Engr Ukodhiko noted that, “our party’s Governorship Candidate, Oborevwori, like me holds women in high esteem, and he will support the women of Isoko through financial support to improve their various trades.
“In my representation, I’ll promote the wellbeing of the women of Isoko, and I’ll work with Oborevwori and our State House of Assembly Candidates to ensure our women are well represented in positions in the administration of our state, Delta”
“I want to implore you my mothers and sisters as you have voted for me, vote for our party’s candidates; Sheriff Oborevwori for Governor, Bernard Odior, Ferguson Onwo and Bino Owhede for State House of Assembly for the desired dividends of democracy to you all” Ukodhiko added.
Women leaders present at the meetings include, Dr. Evelyn Aluta, Barr. Mary Erijo, Mrs Grace Akpotu amongst others who assured that the women of Isoko nation would give the PDP’s candidates bulk votes.
