Vote PDP for continuation of Delta widows’ welfare scheme - Ukodhiko

PEOPLE’S Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives Candidate for Isoko Federal Constituency, Pst. Jonathan Ukodhiko has urged widows to reciprocate Delta Government ‘s efforts of their welfare by voting all candidates of the party in the general elections for continuation of the scheme.
Ukodhiko made the call during the Widows’ Rally and Prayer Session for all candidates of the PDP on Thursday at the Isoko North Local Government Council Secretariat in Ozoro.
He said, “Our Governor and Party’s Vice Presidential Candidate, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa cares about the widows in the State, and he shows it through the monthly stipends to widows in order to alleviate their plight.
“As promised, our party’s Governorship Candidate, Hon Sheriff Oborevwori will sustain and continue with the welfare scheme, and we, the other candidates of the PDP will support and take care of you all when elected into offices.
“I must say, with the massive turnout by you all here today, I’m confident, I, Pst. Jonathan Ukodhiko, and all candidates of the our great party, the PDP have won
The PDP House of Representatives Candidate, Pst Ukodhiko expressed appreciation to the widows in Isoko North Local Government Area for their support and prayers.
“On the day of the election, it’s the umbrella symbol of the PDP you will see. So, please, thumbprint the PDP for us to win and do everything to take care of you all, the widows, and will not disappoint you all when elected “ Ukodikho assured
Earlier, in her remark, the Isoko North Coordinator, Delta State Widows’ Welfare Scheme, Mrs Caroline Usikpedo said, the widows rally and prayer programme was organized as a way by the widows to show their support for candidates of the PDP in all elective positions in the forthcoming general elections
Among those who spoke in commendation for the widows’ empowerment scheme of the Delta Government were the pioneer speaker, Delta State House of House Assembly, Hon Emmanuel Okoro, wife of the PDP Delta South Senatorial Candidate, Mrs Mary Diden.
Others were the Chairman, Isoko North Council, Deacon Christian Iteire, and the PDP Isoko North Constituency Candidate, Barr. Bernard Odior, they also urged the women to vote the PDP for sustenance of the programme.
