MEMBER representing Isoko Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko has congratulated Miss Mitchelle Ogheneserome Amarie who scored A1s in all eight subjects she sat for in the 2023 West African Examination Council.
Ukodhiko in a statement, said “the news of one of my constituents, Amarie from Araya community garnering distinctions in all her subjects at the recent West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations got me excited beyond words.”
According to Hon. Ukodhiko , “From my findings, Miss Amarie is a 15years old child prodigy and exceptionally brainy student of Lead-Forte Gate College, Lekki in Lagos State, who walks the path of hardwork, dedication, diligence, and excellence.
“She has etched in our collective memory’s hall of fame her unparalleled academic achievement, bringing honour and pride not only to her immediate Amarie family of Araya but the entire Isoko-nation she has made proud.
“We celebrate Mitchelle’s exploit of achieving A1 in all of her eight WAEC subjects. Her inspiring story of academic heroism has further concretized the fact that Isoko is a home of enlightenment and academic accomplishments.”
The Isoko federal lawmaker expressed optimism that Miss Mitchelle Ogheneserome Amarie’s brilliant achievement would serve as the needed morale booster that would spur other students of Isoko origin to attain higher academic achievements.
“I must enjoin the people of Isoko to see Mitchelle’s academic feat as a way of recommitting themselves to the values and gains of education in order to make Isoko education an epicenter of Nigeria, nay, Africa.
“Education is central in the making of a nation as the commanding heights we have attained in all professions and spheres of human endeavors are results of acquisition of education.
“Thus, we must as parents, guardians and teachers inculcate in our children, wards and students that education still remains the sine-qua-non of human development and progress thus they must be educationally equipped.
“As representative of the people at the National Assembly, I am committed towards the achievement of a qualitative, functional and affordable education for our children in both public and private schools to achieve same gargantuan academic feat of the brilliant Mitchelle in Isoko.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Isoko Federal Constituency, I congratulate our dear daughter and pride of Isoko nation, Miss Mitchelle Ogheneserome Amarie who has done us proud with her uncommon academic feat in the recent WASSCE.
“It is our fervent prayers and ardent hopes for the cerebrally endowed and prodigious Miss Mitchelle Amarie not to relent in doing her parents, and Isoko ethnic nationality proud in all her future academic endeavors.” Ukodhiko added.
