THE Anambra Police Command says it has resolved to strengthen partnership with the Anambra State Government to reclaim the state from hoodlums.

Pursuant to the objective, they said they would redesign a more technical measure and expertise to tackle insecurity by deploying additional personnel to strategic places in the state.

The newly posted Assistant Inspector General, AIG, in charge of Zone 13, Mallam Garba Mukaddas Muhammad, said this when he paid a courtesy visit to Gov. Willie Obiano at his Aguleri home.

He stressed the determination of the police to clamp down the command and control centers of hoodlums.

Mallam Muhammad assured the public of confidentiality of information offered to them to assist their investigations.

Receiving the delegation, Gov Obiano urged them to move into action in order to ensure prompt response to emergency situations; this would help to sustain the confidence of the public in them.

The Governor promised to sustain the tempo of his support to them for effective service delivery.
