Werder Bremen to sign on Liverpool’s Keita
Sports
GUINEA midfielder Naby Keita could be returning to the Bundesliga from Liverpool in the form of a free transfer to Werder Bremen.
The German side have agreed personal terms with the midfielder on a contract until 2026, with the medical set for next week.
The 28-year-old Keita played in Germany at RB Leipzig from 2016 to 2018 before a 60 million euros (64.5 million dollars) move to Anfield.
He however never established himself as a regular starter.
Liverpool are now not renewing his contract beyond the season, which allows him to leave for free.(dpa/NAN)
