Why Aiyedatiwa won Ondo guber poll-Group

ONDO State Forum of Permanent Secretaries has attributed  the victory of Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo in the  governorship election to his excellent  performance in the past 10 months.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalled that, Aiyedatiwa, scored 366,781 votes to defeat his closest rival, Mr Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 117,845 votes.

The Chairman of the forum, Chief Bunmi Alade and  the  secretary, Mr Jide Ekpobomini, in a statement in Akure on Friday said the victory of the governor was made manifest by his quality stewardship.

 The statement also extended heartfelt congratulations to the governor and his deputy, Dr Olayide Adelami on the well-deserved victory.

The permanent secretaries said that the governor had a well-established antecedent that paved the way for him.

They described the governor’s victory as an affirmation of his sterling leadership qualities and a confirmation of his outstanding leadership quality.

“Your commitment to the security of lives and properties is unparalleled and we are confident that you will build upon your accomplishments and take Ondo State to greater heights.

“This is especially in the area of social, infrastructural, environmental, and economic development for the benefit of the good people of Ondo State,” they said.

The permanent secretaries prayed  God to continue to grant the governor more strength, wisdom, and enablement to completely transform the state. ( NAN)
