A 30-year-old woman, Olaseni Damilola, was on Friday, arraigned before an Ado-Ekiti Magistrates’ Court over alleged breach of peace and assault.

Damilola, whose address was not given, is facing a two-count charge of breach of peace and assault.

The police prosecutor, Insp Sodiq Adeniyi, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on May 3 at about 2:30 p.m at Omisanjana Area in Ado-Ekiti.

Adeniyi alleged that the defendant conducted herself in a manner likely to cause breach of peace, by leaving her house and went to meet one Sileola Olowokere at her shop and scattered her goods that made her lose N16,000 in the process.

He said that the defendant also locked her inside the shop for about ten minutes.
