A 40-year-old woman, Folake Falade, pleaded guilty to being in possession of human parts and charms at an Ebute Meta Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Friday.

Falade, of no fixed address, appeared before the court on a two-count charge of conspiracy and unlawful possession.

She pleaded guilty.

The Prosecutor, Insp. Oladele Adebayo, had told the court earlier that Falade committed the offences on Aug. 27 at about 7.00 a.m. at Cele-NISER Bus Stop in Aiyetoro on the Lagos-Badagry highway.

Adebayo alleged that the accused was found in possession of human parts, charms and a picture of a boy, the apparent victim whose body parts were found in rotten state.

The offences contravened Sections 238 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

The Chief Magistrate, Mr O.O. Olatunji, remanded the accused at the Ikoyi Prisons and adjourned until Sept. 4 for facts and sentencing. (NAN)
