MRS Munachim Chibuenyim,Women Leader, Adventist Women’s Ministries, has called on faith-based organisations, government and individuals to fashion a system of youths inclusiveness.

This, she said, was to ensure that youths contribute to societal development.

This, she added, would curb issues of electoral violence  such as vote buying and other forms of pre and post election violence.

Chibuenyim spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)on Saturday after the women’s campaign tagged: “Abuse of Power:end it now”.

She said that the government needed support of the population of young people in the country , as they needed to be included in the system.

The women leader appealed to organisations and individuals to support  the government with education and entrepreneurship skills for youths.

“To further lift up the youths in the country, as  government has targeted education, economic empowerment, employment generation,”’ she said.

According to her, entrepreneurship development and provision of equal opportunities would benefit the youths, as well as the churches.

She advised the youths to also show seriousness to be assisted and carried along.

“I call on the youth to always strive hard to be successful in life, as nothing good comes easy,” she said.

Chibuenyim further enjoined parents to train their children in Godly ways to ensure they don’t depart from it, ”as before any assistance would be given to them, they must prove to be worthy of it.

Chibuenyim said that God entails that homes should be little heavens on earth, and it starts from the parents.

She said: “Parents should imbibe in their children the spirit of oneness, the spirit of unity, the spirit of peace, so that they would grow with it.

”As they grow up, nobody will entice them with anything money or anything gift for them to put their hands in any bad thing.

”So, we are calling on parents to make sure that as children are growing up they are trained in the proper way.

”We should start on time to train our children so that the election that is coming up, they should not sell their conscience

”They should not sell their votes with peanuts and live in perpetual agony throughout the years coming ahead.” (NAN)
