Woven Finance unveils new brand, platform

WOVEN Finance Ltd., an innovator in the fintech space, on Friday, unveiled its upgraded brand identity and platform.

Mr Collins Obafemi, CEO, Woven Finance, during the company’s brand refresh and Lifestyle Expo held in Lagos, said that the rebranding and platform enhancement aim to further solidify the company’s position in the fintech industry.

Obafemi said that the brand refresh was “not merely a new logo or design, but a renewed commitment to the company’s mission to empower individuals and businesses with accessible, innovative financial solutions.

He explained that the Woven’s re-launched platform offers a range of features, designed to enhance customer experience and meet the highest standards of security and functionality.

Obafemi added that the company’s new platform provides transformative potential of digital technologies like AI, blockchain, and cloud computing in revolutionising financial services.

“This brand refresh symbolises a fresh start for Woven, an identity that reflects our dedication to customers and innovation in an evolving industry.

“Today is not only about our new look; it’s about exploring the synergy between finance and lifestyle.

“Together, we can shape the future of finance, unlocking new possibilities for our communities,”he said.

According to him, the company is poised to reshape the future of digital finance in Nigeria, with keen focus on integrity, innovation, and customer-centricity.

Obafemi said in the last four years, the company had become a prominent player in the financial sector, delivering secure, seamless financial services across technology, education, fashion, gaming, logistics, healthcare, social work, and lending.

The CEO said the company in 2020 introduced virtual accounts in Nigeria and had reached customer base of over 5.2 million, with daily transaction volumes averaging over N1.2 billion across more than 105,000 transactions.

In his keynote address, Mr Aremo Adeleke, Group Managing Director, Plural Group, said that the firm had been filling a gap in the financial services sector.

Adeleke said since inception, the company had been helping people navigate the complexities of digital payments, easily, transparently and securely.

“The team has worked tirelessly to make transactions smoother, more intuitive, and above all reliable, “he said.
