Xi’s envoy to attend Liberia’s presidential inauguration

CHINESE President Xi Jinping’s special envoy would attend the Liberia presidential inauguration.
The vice chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference will also attend the event.
The inauguration of Joseph Boakai as the new president of Liberia will hold in the country’s capital, Monrovia on Jan. 22.
Mao Ning, Liberian Foreign Ministry spokesman, announced the invitation on Friday in Monrovia.(dpa/NAN)
