Yola Hashim assumes duty as Controller, Kaduna Customs Area Command

MR Yola Hashim has assumed duty as new Controller, Kaduna Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
Hashim takes over the leadership to replace Yakubu Salihu, who was transferred to the NCS Headquarters, Abuja.
The new controller thanked the Comptroller General of Customs, retired Col Hameed Ibrahim Ali, and his management team that promoted him and posted him to Kaduna Area Command.
He promised to improve on trade facilitation and revenue collections, and work as a team player with any disciplined officer in the command.
Hashim urged all stakeholders to maintain the existing cordial relationship with him as they showed to his predecessor.
He commended the outgoing Area Controller for his remarkable achievements and target set in the Command on trade facilitation, revenue collections, Customs civic responsibilities to host communities, and a robust stakeholder engagement.
He appealed to all to render him all the necessary assistance that would lead to the actualisation of the Command’s annual target and successful administration.
Earlier, the outgoing Customs Area Controller and Ag. ACG Yakubu Salihu, expressed optimism that with the utmost support of his lieutenants and Stakeholders, he was able to make a successful journey throughout his stay in the command.
He explained that his door was always opened to all officers and men as he was going to assume duty at the Headquarters Abuja.(NAN)
