THE Oyo State Wrestling Association (OSWA), on Wednesday, says four wrestlers are to represent the state at the forthcoming 5th National Youth Games in Ilorin, Kwara.

According to the OSWA coach, Sunday Sanni, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ibadan, the wrestlers will be competing to gain exposure and exhibit their skills.

NAN also reports that the competition is billed to hold  between Sept. 7 and Sept. 17.

The coach named the athletes as: Blessing Agaba, 46kg; Kehinde Waheed, 48kg; Tela Dada, 52kg and Oyebisi Komolafe, 36kg respectively.

Sanni, who said the wrestlers would not be put under any pressure to win medals, added that they would go there to merely compete to gain exposure and exhibit their skills.

“The target is to expose the athletes and sharpen their competitiveness. However, getting a gold medal is also in view,” he said. (NAN)
