Youth ministers pledge to champion Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda

DR Jamila Ibrahim, Minister of Youth and Development and Minister of State Mr Ayodele Olawande have pledged to ensure that President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for the youth was realised.

Ibrahim said this while addressing the management staff of the ministry in Abuja.

“I will want us to cooperate in order to drive the Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for youth development.

“We are here to serve the youth, leadership is not only about giving directives . We are here as servants of the youths representing the president and every staff member of the ministry.

“We need a holistic approach to youth development.

” I cannot make policy statement now until I hear from everybody to know where we stand as a ministry.

“we will work together to design a plan for what we want to do,” she said.

Ibrahim therefore called for the cooperation of the management and staff of the Ministry in order to actualise their mandate.

According to her, Tinubu is passionate about youth development and so created a Youth Ministry and assigned two ministers to drive its development.

She urged the youths to support the president administration in order to achieve the renewed hope agenda of his administration.

Ibrahim appealed to the staff to cooperate with her to serve the Nigerian youths better in order to achieve the object of the ministry.

Also speaking, Olawande promised to bring his wealth of experience as a community development expert and youth leader to bear towards the achievement of the Ministry’s mandate.

Ibrahim is an indigen of Kwara State a medical doctor, politician, and development practitioner.

A strong advocate of United Nations Global Goals, served as Senior Special Assistant on Health matters to the Governor of Kwara.

She served in various capacities as a humanitarian volunteer, including the North East region of Nigeria on the platform of The Presidential Committee on the North East initiative (PCNI).

Olawande is an indigen of Ondo state born in 1989 and raised in Lagos State.

He is a community development expert and a dynamic youth leader who has served in various capacities in the public and private sectors.(NAN)
