YPP plans result oriented, unique campaign for 2023- Official

THE Young Progressives Party (YPP) says it plans to run a unique result oriented campaign using a different approach toward winning the 2023 presidential election.

Mr Wale Martins, YPP National Publicity Secretary, said this on Thursday in a communique at the end of the party’s 21st National Working Committee (NWC) meeting in Abuja on Thursday.

“The NWC received the Presidential Candidate of the Young Progressives Party, Chief Malik Ado-Ibrahim who clarified all issues raised in the preceding NWC meeting to the satisfaction of all who were present.

“He is ready to engage his supporters, party teeming members and other critical stakeholders on his unique plans and strategies to emerge winner at the presidential polls.

“He reassured the NWC of his unalloyed commitment to contest and win the 2023 presidential election through a unique all-inclusive campaign approach different from the status quo but more effective and result-driven,” he said.

Martins said that the presidential candidate had also presented a comprehensive campaign plan with a commendable innovative strategy anchored on specific timelines to the delight of the NWC for consideration.

He said that critical components of the plans were extensively deliberated upon and a joint committee with the mandate to review and streamline it was set up.

Martins also said that the NWC ratified some key immediate components of the campaign plans considered to have quick impact.

“This is based on a unanimous conviction that the party has the best presidential clear-cut vision to rescue and reset Nigeria.

“So we enjoin all YPP members, supporters and general public in Nigeria and in the Diaspora to keep tabs on all party activities leading up to the general elections in 2023,” he said.

He said that the party would kick-start the activities with a town hall meeting on Oct. 21 in Abuja.(NAN)
