Zamfara NMA gets new exco

THE Zamfara Chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has elected new executive officers to run the affairs of the association in the next two years.

This is contained in a statement issued in Gusau on Sunday by the outgoing Chairman of the association, Dr Sanusi Bello.

Bello said new executive officers for NMA Zamfara chapter have emerged following a successful 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and election held on Saturday, Aug. 10.

He said the new exco included Dr Ibrahim Jibril-Hano, who clinched the position of Chairman, Dr Mohammed Murtala-Salahu, Vice Chairman, while Dr Hussaini Haruna was elected Secretary of the association.

According to him, others are Dr Patrick Okoli, Assistant Secretary, Dr Aminu Alhazzai, Treasurer, Dr Ogunbuyide Oluwadare, Public Relations Officer, Dr Abdul-Azeez Samaila, Welfare Secretary, while Dr Sanusi Bello would serve as Ex Officio.

While congratulating the new executive officers, Bello charged them to work hard to ensure transparency and accountability in the discharge of their duties. (NAN)
