35 ships conveying various products expected at Lagos ports

THE Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Friday in Lagos that 35 ships carrying petroleum products, food and other goods were expected at Apapa and Tin Can Island ports from August 3 to August 22.

It said 14 of the 35 ships would sail in with petrol, while the remaining 21 would bring buckwheat, frozen fish, steel products, bulk sugar, bulk gypsum, crude palm oil, bulk fertiliser, diesel and containers carrying different goods.

According to the NPA, 11 other ships have arrived at the ports waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, bulk oil, ethanol, container, bulk urea, crude oil, diesel and petrol. (NAN)
