BABATUNDE Morakinyo, Chairman, Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), says the federation is set to host the Zone 3 Africa Volleyball Championship beginning from April 20 in Lagos.

The competition, which will end on April 22, will hold at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, with no fewer than six countries taking part.

Morakinyo told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Lagos that all that was required to make a successful event had been put in place.

According to him, Ghana, Niger, Burkina Faso, Togo, Cote D’Ivoire and Benin Republic will participate in the two-day volleyball fiesta.

“We have put all modalities in place for a hitch-free championship which will involve the best clubs in Zone 3.

“Nigeria, as host, will be represented by Legacy Male Club, Legacy Female Club from Lagos and the Nigeria Customs Service Club,’’ Morakinyo said.
