ABDULKADIR Balarabe Musa, politician, accountant and former governor of Kaduna State, 82, August 21. Born in Kaya, Kaduna State, he studied in Kaya, Kaduna, 1943-1947; Zaria Middle School, 1947-1952; Institute of Administration, Zaria, 1952-1953. He also attended various colleges in London, between 1961 and 1969. Musa was appointed accounts clerk, 1953-1955; school teacher, 1955-1960; executive officer, 1960-1961; commercial officer, 1965-1966; accountant, 1969-1970; company secretary and chief accountant, 1970-1976. He was elected first civilian governor of Kaduna State in 1979.
