ALHAJI Yabagi Sani, Action Democratic Party (ADP) National Chairman says the party is on a mission to take Nigeria to the promised land and make life better for all Nigerians.

He said this at a Forum of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.

Sani said: “The ADP came on board in June 2017 as a child of necessity because we realised that at the time of its birth, the country’s political space was experiencing eminent collapse.

“At that time, the other political parties were in disarray and had
factions and were not showing capacity, including the Peoples` Democratic Party (PDP).

“And that was why some of us came together under my leadership that we should approach the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) so that a credible alternative party can be created for Nigerians.

“Since we got license as a political party from INEC, we have been recording a lot of successes, in terms of deepening democracy and giving Nigerians hope.”

He added that while other political parties were in disarray and having some forms of internal crisis, the ADP remained a united front and a party sent by God to save the country and take her to the promise land.

Sani said the ADP was the party that would fulfill the aspirations of Nigerians, adding that Nigerians were gifted and the best anywhere in the world if given the opportunity.

He noted that Nigeria was one of the most favoured countries in the world by God in terms of natural endowment, human capital resources and economy any country could aspire to have.

According to him, in spite of the country`s challenges, it plays big on the African continent and in the world, politically, socially and economically.

Sani added that it was however, unfortunate that in spite of her endowment, the country had been left in the hands of those who does not seem to understand the essence of political power.

This, he said, was the reason the country was not making much progress as expected.

Sani said the ADP would not allow Nigeria to disintegrate as was being insinuated because, ”God brought it on board to save her”, adding that the ADP was the future of Nigeria.

The ADP national chairman added that other political parties lacked substance and ability to provide organisation, leadership and direction.

“ We believe that our party is the party to take this country to the promised land, and it is the party to fufil the aspirations of Nigerians.

“You know Nigerians, they are gifted, give us a chance anywhere in the world, we will be at the top,’’ he said.

Sani assured that if elected as the country`s next president, his
administration would ensure a paradigm shift from the current reality and make the country a better place for all Nigerians.

He said he would give priority to creating employment, industrialisation, electricity and agriculture, if elected as the country’s next president. (NAN)
