THE Anambra State Government has announced that Nursery pupils are exempted from the ongoing gradual resumption of schools in the state.
This is contained in a release signed by Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Linus Nwankwo.
According to the statement, all nursery school pupils should remain at home to keep safe from the COVID-19 pandemic.
It added that the resumption of nursery schools would be announced in due course.
IT encouraged schools to continue with the e-teaching platform, including the Anambra Teaching-on-Air to keep the children busy academically.
The document also directed all public and private schools to strictly adhere to the instructions.
