THE All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) says it has canceled the Anambra Central Senatorial Zonal rally planned for October 28 by Mr Ossy Onuko, an aide to Gov. Chukwuma Soludo.

The state Chairman of the party, Chief Ifeatu Obi-Okoye, disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen in Awka on Wednesday.

Ifeatu said the rally, tagged “Solution Team”, was jointly planned by Onuko and Mr Obinna Ndigwe.

He said that “the state and zonal leaders of APGA were not aware of the so called mega rally”.

According to him, APGA Anambra chapter has cancelled and postponed the planned Anambra Central Zonal Rally, being organised and facilitated by Onuko, as convener, and one Obinna Ndigwe.

“Neither the zonal leaders, critical stakeholders nor even the party leadership in Anambra central was taken into confidence,” he said.

Onuko is the Managing Director, Awka Capital Territory Development Authority. (NAN)
