UNIVERSITY teacher, former registrar and chief executive, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, 68, February 2. Born in Gwarzo, Kano State, he was educated at Government College, Keffi, 1964-1968, and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He also attended Universities in the United Kingdom. Salim was a lecturer at Bayero University, Kano, from 1976-1996, when he was appointed the registrar and chief executive officer of JAMB.
