Jossy Nkwocha, journalist, author, public relations practitioner and head, corporate communications, Indorama Eleme Petrochemical Limited, Port Harcourt, 54, October 6. Born in Umuanyika-Ngor in Ngor/Okpala local government area of Imo State, he was educated at Community School, Ngor; Community Secondary School, Amuzi, Mbaise, Imo State, 1975-1980; Nigeria Institute of Journalism, Lagos, 1983-1985 and University of Nigeria, Nsukka, 1996-1998. He was appointed clerical officer, Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, 1981-1983; senior reporter, Vanguard Newspapers, 1985-1988; editorial consultant, Gong Newspapers, 1994; assistant editor, Topnews magazine, 1988-1989; senior staff writer, Quality magazine, 1989-1990; assistant editor, Quality magazine, 1990-1992; deputy editor, Quality magazine, 1992-1994; assistant editor, Newswatch magazine, 1994-1997; associate editor, Newswatch magazine, 1997-1999 and general editor, Newswatch magazine, 1999-2002.
