Celebration as Idris Weds Muhinat

APRIL 2, 2016, will remain a memorable day to the good people of Ilesha Baruba of Baruten local government in Kwara State as they gave out the hand of their daughter Muhinat Mohammed in marriage to Captain Idris Kisra Mohammed, son of Sabi Isa’q, director of research and budget at the Kwara House of Assembly. Muhinat is also the daughter of a Colonel of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

The colourful ceremony saw Captain Mohammed of the Nigerian Armed Forces tying the nuptial ties with Muhinat. It was a celebration of love and joy as well-wishers from all walks of life trooped in from different parts of the country to witness the event.

The wedding ceremony which witnessed the traditional sword crossing of the Nigerian Armed Forces, military musical band and cultural display by a local musical group from Baruten kingdom left all attendees in awe of the military men on parade and the dance steps of the local group on display.

The wedding ceremony which had in attendance many members and staff of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Zakari Mohammed, a serving federal lawmaker, local government chairman of Baruten LGA and many other important dignitaries, including serving commissioners and a representative of the governor of the state.  Also, villagers comprising young kids and old ladies attended the wedding.

Isa’q Mohammed, groom’s fathers, was overjoyed and he prayed for the success of the marriage of the new couple.
