CATHOLIC Men Organization, CMO St.Augustine Parish 3-3 Omife Nkwelle in Oyi. L G will on Sunday 5th May bestows meritorious services Award to some of its distinguished members who has rendered and still renders selfless services to God and humanity in appreciation of their immense contributions towards spreading of gospel,infrastructural development of the church and their examplary lifestyle.
The Chairman of Organizing Committee and Anambra State Chairman Civil Liberties Organization flanked by the Chairman Chief Francis Agidi,his deputy Sir Ebuka Chukwudobelu and Secretary Mr.Slyvester Ogboji stated that the event will be spiritually filled as it will gives members opportunity to reappraise our achievements to our families,church, society and identifies areas that needs improvements.The epoch making event will be under the distinguished chairmanship of Sir/Lady Dr.Tony Chinedu whereas Distinguished Senator Dr.Tony Nwoye is expected to be the Chief Guest of Honour,while Hon Maureen Gwacham representing Oyi/Ayamelum in the Federal House of Representative and Hon.Commissioner For Petroleum and Mineral resources Barr.Tony Ifeanya will be the Special Guests of Honours and Hon.Sir Emeka Akanegbu Guest of Honour.
Awarding wining DPO CPS,CSP Rabiu Garuba will deliver lecture on the role of police in protection of lives and properties of citizens,whereas Chairman Civil Liberties Organization Anambra State Evangelist Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme will speak on the role of CMO in the families and the church.
According to the chairman Mr.Francis Agidi the highlights of the events includes bestowing meritorious services Awards to some distinguished members includes Hon.Com.Tony Ifeanya,Owelle Sir Tony Chinedu,Chief Thank God Okafor,Chief Nnamdi Iwuji,Chief Chimezie Osuji and others.Other features includes cultural dance,selection of Igwe/Onowu/Breaking of kolanuts,cutting of CMO 2024 Fathering Sunday anniversary cake among others.
Necessary arrangements has been made to ensure eventful,memorable and resultoriented event.
