Coy donates relief materials to Jigawa flood victims

THE Jigawa State Investment and Property Development Company, has donated relief materials to flood victims in Dutse Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.

Alhaji Habibu Yusuf, the spokesperson for the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), said this when he spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Dutse.

Yusuf said the items made up of food and non-food items were presented to the victims in Karnaya village in Dutse LGA.

He said that the items included 100 cartons of indomie noodles, 10 cartons of toilet soaps, 50 pieces of nylon mates and 100 kettles.

He added that the items were presented by SEMA Director of Operations, Alhaji Sabo Ibrahim, on behalf of the Managing Director, Alhaji Halliru Sa’id, for onward distribution to the victims.

He quoted Ibrahim as saying that the gesture was aimed at cushioning the victims’ hardship during the ceremony.  (NAN)
