Emeka Etiaba, lawyer, philanthropist and politician, 51, March 16. Born in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, he was educated at Nike Grammar School, Enugu; Okongwu Grammar School, Nnewi, and the University of Jos in 1988. He attended Nigerian Law School and was called to the Bar in 1989. He has been in private legal practice and his law firm has branches in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Nnewi. He is a member of the International Bar Association and Ikoyi Club. He was governorship aspirant under the People’s Progressive Alliance, PPA, in Anambra State in the 2010, but lost in the party’s primaries.
