Fidelis Ozichukwu heads new electoral committee of Ohanaeze Ndigbo

THE Ohaneze Ndigbo has set up an electoral committee, which is headed by Fidelis Ozichukwu.

According to the letter by P. C. Aneke McArb, the assistant national legal adviser of the group, the electoral committee is set up to oversee the conduct of elections for the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State chapter.

The letter explained that the electoral affairs of all the state chapters and affiliate organization of Ohanaeze Ndigbo is under the supervision of the National Executive Committee, and any election result produced by a parallel electoral committee will be invalid and will not be recognized by the National Executive Committee of Ohanaeze Ndigbo. 

It advised that all plans made with regards to the upcoming elections by parallel committee should be cancelled to avoid any crisis.
