Ganduje Reconstitutes Kano Pillars FC Board

FOLLOWING the sack of Kano Pillars Football Club Board members over abysmal performance, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on Thursday, October 20, approved the appointment of a new management committee for the club with immediate effect.

According to a statement signed by Salihu Tanko Yakasai, director general, Media and Communications to the governor, the new Board/management has Muhammad Tukur Babangida as chairman.

Other members are Musa Garba Yakasai, Faruk Sani Haladu, Tijjani Sale Minjibir, Sani Lawan, Murtala Alasan Zainawa and Yahaya Idris (Minister)

The statement added that Ganduje appealed to the new management to work diligently and ensure that the objective of the administration of restoring the glory of the club was achieved.

By the statement, the former management was also directed to immediately handover all public properties, including finances under it, to the new management.
