Governor Adeleke felicitates Oba  Adekunle Aromolaran on his birthday

THE Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has rejoiced with the Owa of Obokun and the Paramount ruler of Ijeshaland, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran III, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday, eulogizing him for his sustained commitment to the promotion of Yoruba heritage.

The Governor who appreciated Oba Aromolaran’s forward-looking leadership as manifest in initiatives undertaken since assuming his forbearers’ stool, said his birthday offers a moment of reflection of the transformations visible in the areas under his rulership.

Governor Adeleke acknowledged Oba Aromolaran’s immense importance in preserving our heritage, culture and traditions, lauding his devotion to upholding our values and fostering cohesion in his domain.

“I heartily celebrate the Paramount ruler of Ijeshaland, Oba (Dr) Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran III, on the occasion of his birthday. Kabiyesi is a figure who inspires dedication to the service of the people, and as he turns a new age, we’re reminded of his many sacrifices which engenders not just progress and tranquility in his domain, but also aid the growth of our state and the nation as a whole,” the message noted.

The Governor applauded the monarch for exploring his depth of knowledge and wisdom in complementing governments at various levels in the course of development, adding that his “wisdom, guidance in maintaining peace and harmony are invaluable.”

“May this special day be filled with joy, surrounded by the love and admiration of your subjects and loved ones. It is my prayer that Almighty God grant Kabiyesi more years of celebration in good health, happiness, and strength in the service of subjects and Osun state as a whole,” he added.
