GREEN Party of Nigeria, GPN, Sani Abdulkadir (Dakaci), House of Representatives hopeful,   has said that his party holds the keys to solution of Nigeria’s problems.

He expressed  this  at a Sallah get-together  organised  for party  faithful at his at his residence on Saturday, June 16, which saw members from  the  12 wards  of Igabi  Local  Government  Area  of  Kaduna  State in attendance.

The gathering turned out to a political rally,   that saw thousands of members of the ruling  All Progressives Congress, APC, decamp to the GPN.

He explained that the meeting was to socialise and eat together to celebrate the Eid-el Fitr.

He prayed for Allah’s blessing  from the Ramadan sacrifice.

“This present government has failed.  No light, no water, no food, they keep  telling  us to be  patient.  Green Party is the solution to Nigeria’s problems,” he declared.

Speaking further, he said that right now, Igabi which is the third largest LGA in the country  has no adequate representative in the House of Representatives.

“The present member representing us is not heard, he is not been felt he is there as if he is not there. Is that what we want?” He queried, with the crowd responding “No.”

He went on to say that Igabi had resources that can cater for Kaduna  State  if judiciously utilised  through  agriculture.

Ibrahim Adamu, a guest, said that the youth are their own problem.

“The problem we have as youth, we don’t like each other.

“I have been seeing Dakaci on Social Media.  When we first  met,  I told  him I am a member  of  the  ruling  APC  but because  of  him,  I am today  moving  to  GPN with thousands of my supporters.

“We have to stand and support him, so that we get the desired change,” he appealed.

In his remarks,  Abubakar Suleiman, the vice-chairman  of GPN Kaduna State, said  that the  party  is youth  friendly  and someone  like Dakaci has the heart to  empower Youth.

“He is not the type that goes sharing  money  to  political  thugs to hack  people  down. He empowers people to be self reliant so they can empower others,” he added.

In her remarks, Hadiza Useni, the Women Leader of GPN Rigasa Ward, said she moved to the party because of Dakaci.

She explained that the impunity in the APC led to the decamping of its members in Igabi to the GPN,  which is a truly Democratic Party.
