AN Area Court sitting in Ilorin on Thursday dissolved an Islamic marriage between Adijat Mudashiru and Mudashiru Ibrahim.

The presiding judge, AbdulQodir Ahmed, gave the order on the agreement of both husband and wife.

The wife had filed for dissolution of their 10-year old marriage with four children, on account of lack of love and frequent beating.

The husband agreed to the decision of his wife, saying that she had been living on her own for the past five years.

The court ruled that the woman should have custody of the children, while the man should have access to them at reasonable time, with restrictions. (NAN)
