GOV. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara has congratulated Dr Ishaq Modibbo-Kawu on his 62nd birthday anniversary, describing him as a statesman and a moving encyclopaedia on various socio-economic issues.
This is contained in a statement issued in Ilorin on Monday night by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye.
AbdulRazaq commended the media top gun for his contributions to national development and his continuous intellectual insights into herders-farmers’ debate.
“Similarly, we commend the consistent support of IMK for the Otoge administration.
“On behalf of the government and people of our state, I send our hearty congratulations to IMK.
“As he marks his birthday, we are proud to have made a huge leap in turning around the state-owned media for good, especially the broadcasting houses, where he was one of their pathfinders.
“History will never forget his good deeds as he was the brain behind reforms in home media in the state.
“We pray Allah grant IMK good health, long life and abundant grace to continue to serve our country and humanity, including his latest engagement as a prominent leader of the media (strategy) team of the ruling APC Presidential Campaign,” the statement read in part. (NAN)
