NESH Foundation canvasses for N1trn Industry Equity Fund for SMEs

THE Nigeria and Entrepreneurship Summit & Honors, NESH, Foundation has continued its advocacy for the setting up a N1trillion Nigeria SME Industry Equity Fund for the small and medium scale enterprise, SMEs, by the federal government.
The fund, according to NESH will be managed by the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority, NSIA.
In pursuance of this objective, NESH officials paid a visit to the Senate President Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan in his office at the National Assembly on Wednesday in Abuja.
During the visit, Emeka Ugwu-Oju, founder of NESH Foundation, presented the communique issued at the end of the 5th NESH-NXT Annual Conference for Young Nigerian Entrepreneurs, which endorsed the proposed Fund to Lawan.
Also in attendance was Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, Senate minority leader and founder, Made in Aba Trade Fair, Abuja.
