New Perm Sec. tasks civil servants on team work

MR. Abdulkareem Bala, the new Permanent Secretary, Political Affairs, office of the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State (SSG), has urged civil servants to embrace team work.

Bala gave the advice on Monday in Lafia while speaking with newsmen after a visit by his Alma Mater, GSS Gindiri, Jos.

He said that team work, unity and peaceful co-existence, would promote optimal productivity and speedy development in the civil service and the country.

The permanent secretary also pledged his commitment to the development of civil service, the state and the country at large.

“I want to appreciate you for rejoicing with me over my appointment. I want to thank Gov. Abdullahi Sule for appointing me as Permanent Secretary,” he said.

Bala advised civil servants to be committed to their responsibilities and be transparent while discharging their duties.

He called for unity and peaceful co-existence among ethnic nationalities in the country.

He said that no society achieves meaningful progress and development without unity and peace.

“Let’s all be agent of peace considering the importance of peace to human and societal development,” he said. (NAN)
