Nigeria to arrive in Egypt Wednesday for U-21 Men’s Beach Volleyball Qualifiers

Nigeria’s under-21 men beach volleyball team will arrive in Egypt on Wednesday for the second round of the continental qualifiers for the 2019 Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) World Championships in Thailand.
Maikano Adamu, Secretary-General of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Abuja that the team comprise two male players and one international referee.
He said the country’s teams in both the male and female categories qualified during the first round of the qualifiers held in Ghana in February.
“I’m sure that they have prepared very well for the competition, and they will do their best to make us proud like they always do,’’ the NVBF secretary-general said
He added that the second round qualifying competition would hold from Thursday to Monday in Cairo.
NAN reports that the 2019 edition of the Men’s and Women’s FIVB Beach Volleyball U21 World Championships will hold from June 19 to June 23 in Udonthani, Thailand.(NAN)
