Osun 2022: INEC commences conduct of mock accreditation Monday

AHEAD of 2022 Osun State governorship election slated for July 16th, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will commence conduct of mock accreditation exercise for electorate on Monday.

The commission in a statement by its Public Affairs Officer, Oluwaseun Osimosu on Sunday disclosed that the exercise will be conducted across the three senatorial districts of the state.

According to the release, “This is to inform the general public that the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in preparation for a hitch free July 16 Governorship Election in Osun State will be conducting Mock Accreditation on Monday 4th and 5th July, 2022 in six Local Government Areas of the State, two Registration Areas/Wards across the 3 Senatorial Districts.”

She highlighted that polling units earmarked for the exercise are as follows: Osun central; Iragbiji headquarters of Boripe local government area, Osogbo; Osun East; Ife East and North Local Government Areas and Osun West; Ede South and Egbedore Local Government Areas.
