The youth leader, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Isoko North Chapter, Amb. Egwu Oghenero Alakpodia has set up Christmas billboards in strategic places in the local government area of Delta State.

Speaking during the erection of the billboards last weekend, Alakpodia said, “Christmas represents the best of seasons for Christians, a moment of great happiness and immense joy, and most importantly, a time for deep spirituality.”

He stated, “Though, the nation’s economic woes have engendered severe hardship which has changed drastically the tenor and temper of Christmas. Deltans, particularly Isoko North people should see cause to chorus and to celebrate the Christmas!”

Alakpodia called on the youths of Isoko North to be hopeful as Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Hon Jonathan Ukodhiko of the National Assembly are working collaboratively to do more to improve the socioeconomic development of Isoko North Local Government Area.

“Yes, We the youths must hold on to hope and work as a people to make Isoko North a better place of development and empowerment even as I urge us to begin rethinking , reworking our mindset and be refocused. Our future and the kind of Isoko North we want are in our hands.

“Thus, I enjoin us to continue to give support to Governor Oborevwori and Hon Ukodhiko in their determination to change the fortunes of many youths into prosperity through programmes that will transform our lives into prosperity during their tenures.

“It is on that note, that I join our Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and our federal lawmaker, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko to say merry Christmas to you all.”
