FROM busting Bavaria to the banks of the Rhine, each of the ten stadiums boasts its own unique charm and history, setting the stage for an unforgettable championship. But which stadiums stand as the epitome of excellence? 

The experts at Live Football Tickets ranked each stadium participating in EURO 2024 according to their online rating, capacity, price of food and refreshments, and accessibility among other factors in order to conclude the best and worst EURO 2024 stadiums.

The Top 3 Euro 2024 Stadiums:

1.     Allianz Arena: Munich

Claiming the number one spot and the title of Euro 2024’s best stadium, with a final score of 7.1 out of ten is the Allianz Arena in Munich. 

The stadium is known for its unique and innovative architecture, featuring a translucent outer shell that can change colours. But it’s not just the architecture that sets the Allianz Arena ahead of the rest; the venue is known for its reasonable food and beer prices. Fans can expect to pay just €2.50 for a 0.5 litre bottle of water, €4.20 for a bratwurst or currywurst, and just €4.40 for a beer. 

The venue scores six out of ten for accessibility thanks to its wheelchair accessible seating, ramp access throughout, and designated disabled parking facilities, and it also boass an average review rating of 4.6 out of five.

2.                 Mercedes-Benz Arena: Stuttgart

In second place with a final score of 6.8 out of ten is the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Stuttgart. Its steep stands and proximity to the pitch creates an intimate atmosphere during matches, allowing fans to feel fully immersed in the game. 

Although thirsty fans can expect to pay slightly over the odds for a beer at €5.20 per 0.5 litrewater is priced at just €3.50 and a bratwurst or currywurst will set you back €3.60. The stadium prioritises accessibility for people with disabilities by providing designated spaces, accessible seating, elevators, ramps, and assistance services, earning it an accessibility score of 6.4 out of ten.

3.                 Merkur Spiel-Arena: Düsseldorf

Securing the third place position with a total score of 5.7 out of ten is the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf. The stadium is known for its retractable roof structure that spans over the seating areas, creating a visually impressive silhouette. 

The stadium offers modest food and drink prices of €4.50 for a beer or bratwurst and €3.80 for a 0.5 litre bottle of water. A respectable stadium rating of 4.3 out of five cements its position as an attractive venue for Euro 2024 fans.

The Bottom 3 Euro 2024 Stadiums:

Despite all ten Euro 2024 stadiums boasting a visitor rating no lower than 4.1 out of five, there are always winners and losers in the beautiful game. 

Volksparkstadion in Hamburg ranks third from the bottom due to a lower accessibility score of 4.7 out of ten. 

Meanwhile, the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig ranks second from the bottom as a result of the lowest visitor rating of all stadiums in the top ten; 4.1 out of five.  

Finishing in last place is the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen. Although the stadium boasts an excellent visitor score of 4.5 out of ten, it is let down by its lower accessibility score of just 2.9 out of ten.
